Name: The Pound - Animal Control

Miel is my first born...so to speak. Miel means "honey" in French and Spanish.... Rescued from the Maricopa County Pound in 1997. I don't know if the RESCUE foundation existed when I bailed her out, but at that time one of the workers told me only 30 to 40 percent made it out of there....how scary! My life would not be the same without her. She has been with me through thick and thin. Always there when I need her most. She's still spry and Rocks my World! She is the matriarch of our expanded rescue pet family. A little grey around her face...she is still beautiful and smart. I never want to face a day without Miel's little face.
